A Public notification signed by Oluomo Kolapo, the Commissioner for Information and Public enlightenment Osun State, has warned against the heightened advancement of lands preserved for the enactment of a six stadia across the three senatorial districts.
Hence forth. the state government has warned that this unlawful activities be put on hold as it is a negative development.
According to the deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi, several complaints of encroachment and illegal sale of such lands to developers have been discovered.
Thus, members of the public are advised to stay away from the property of the Government as a law enforcement team has been set up to arrest the situation.
The areas of interest include Osogbo, Ife, Ilesa, Ikirun Ede and Iwo. Trespassers are warned to desist from their acts.
The state government has informed the general public that they vacate the land without further delay as intruders will be dealt with according to the full extent of the law.
