Former One Direction’s 31-year-old singer Liam Payne passed away

Liam Payne, a member of One Direction, has tragically passed away after falling from a hotel balcony on the third floor in Buenos Aires.

Authorities reported that they responded to the hotel following claims of a “hostile individual who might have been influenced by substances and alcohol.”

Payne fell from the balcony after officers arrived, as hotel workers had expressed concerns about his safety prior to the incident, according to the transcript of the 911 call.

Fans and celebrities have been reminiscing about the star, including a woman who featured in a One Direction video after snapping a selfie with Payne.
