Tinubu Travels to China for Crucial Diplomatic Engagement

On Thursday, President Bola Tinubu will leave Abuja for Beijing, China, to embark on a dignified diplomatic venture.

Huawei Technologies and the China Railway and Construction Corporation are among the well-known Chinese companies that the president will be visiting, according to Tuesday’s announcement from the White House.

The goal of these activities is to speed up the completion of several important projects, including the section of the Lagos-Kano high-speed rail line that runs from Ibadan to Abuja.

Thursday saw the publication of a statement by Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, in which she detailed President Tinubu’s planned short layover in the UAE.

“President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja for Beijing, China, on Thursday, 29th August, on an official visit,” the statement partially said.

There will be a short stop in the UAE for President Tinubu. During his visit to China, the president will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping and interact with Chinese business magnates during the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.

Key government officials will join President Tinubu on the tour.
