#Endbadgovernance: Police Officers Mistakenly Kill Colleague During Protest
In the wake of the nationwide protest going on in Nigeria some police officers while trying to disband a group of protesters in Katsina State shot and killed a fellow police officer.
Our sources gathered that the incident happened earlier today Friday 2nd of August, 2024, being the second day of the ongoing protests against bad governance, economic hardship, and hunger.
Eyewitnesses reported that the chaotic scene began when police officers began firing at protesters, resulting in one officer being hit.
The scene was disheartening as the victim was seen lying in a pool of his blood surrounded by a crowd.
