Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema, was one of many international celebrities who performed at the lavish wedding of Anant, the son of Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani—widely considered to be Asia’s wealthiest man.
The extravagant wedding celebrations had been going on for months, and Rihanna, a worldwide superstar, had performed at one of the parties. At the Jio World Centre in Mumbai, India, Anant and Radhika Merchant exchanged wedding vows on Friday, July 12, 2024.
Anant had Radhika Merchant in mind as his bride. Rema played his popular song, “Calm Down,” several times during the party, and it captivated the crowd. A large portion of the audience eagerly joined in his rhythmic singing and dancing.
As he proceeded with his act, the enthusiastic crowd roared their approval. The fact that the Nigerian singer shared the stage with other worldwide superstars like Justin Bieber and Rihanna added an extra dose of glitz to the already stunning and celebrity-studded event.
A plethora of events were planned for the couple’s nuptials, including an engagement party, a pre-wedding celebration, a wedding party for disadvantaged guests, a music night, a cruise, and many more.
A number of other important figures, including former British prime ministers Boris Johnson and Tony Blair, were present at the wedding. Priyanka Chopra, Kim Kardashian, and a slew of other famous faces were also in attendance.
The elder Ambani (snr.) is now the tenth richest person in the world, according to the most recent rankings.
