Mrs Didi Esther Wilson Jack as Head of Civil Service

The president of the federation- His excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu appoints Mrs Didi Esther Walson Jack as the new Head of the civil service of the Federation.

Didi Esther Walson-Jack attended the Federal Government Girls’ College,Benin City and the Federal Government College, Ilorin.She is among the first group of students to access education in the Nigeria unity schools and holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Lagos. She was called to Bar in 1987.

Mrs Didi was appointed as the Federal permanent secretary of the Federal ministry of Education in 2017 by former President -Mohamadu Buhari and was honored with an award of the officer of the Order of the Niger on the 28th of May, 2023.She worked in the service welfare office, Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, Federal Ministry of Power and water resources and sanitation.

She is expected to resume duties on the 14th of August, 2024 after the retirement of Dr. Folasade Yemi-Essan, on the 13th of August, 2024.

The president of the Federation thanked the outgoing Head of service for her stewardship and implored the new Head of service to discharge her duties with innovative flair, intergrity and stringent adherence to the exact rules and regulations of the Civil Service of the Federation.
